Cancer is traditionally treated through surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. It is known, however, that these therapies have significant side effects. This is no surprise, because both radiation and chemo are poisons that have no place in the human body. It is therefore understandable that there is now a suggestion that natural foods may be used to replace chemotherapy as a way to treat cancer.

The Issue Against Chemotherapy

Cancer deaths have indeed dropped by around 20% in this country over the past 20 years. However, it is no secret that chemotherapy is a poison and therefore not good for the body. Just how bad it is, however, may come as a surprise.

“A survey of 128 US cancer doctors found that if they contracted cancer, more than 80 per cent would not have chemotherapy.”

Furthermore, chemotherapy is very ineffective on some types of cancer. In fact, with some, the success rate is as low as 1%. The medical community is paying attention to this, however, and they are starting to consider different types of treatment. Scientists are looking into the possibilities of targeted therapies, which means a cure is provided at the site of the individual cancer, in order to address the biological composition of the individual cancer.

Natural Foods and Cancer

It is said that Mother Nature has provided us with everything the human body needs in order to survive. All the pharmaceutical industry does is synthesize these natural products and make them stronger. However, with drug resistance rising to epidemic proportions, people are starting to look at going back to basics and making use of natural products.

The first thing you may want to consider is whether diet has played a role in the development of cancer in the first place. After all, if what we eat can help cure is, it must also be able to make us sick. Considering the rise in the consumption of processed foods and the resultant effect of eliminating certain enzymes in food, it is quite easy to see a correlation between the food we eat and cancer.

“Suddenly, processed foods became a greater and greater proportion of the American diet right after the First World War, first in the canning industry, which later developed into the food processing industry. This was when pasteurization, chemical additives, bleaching, and other adulterating processes were introduced into mass food production. The idea was to make food last on the shelves as long as possible, thereby increasing overall profits. The way this was done was by removing the natural enzymes contained in the food, resulting in adulterated de-vitalized non-foods becoming the new standard.”

In addition, we live on a planet that is increasingly polluted. Thus, it is no surprise that our bodies are suffering. One of the world’s healthiest foods, salmon, cannot be consumed more than three times per week due to the high levels of mercury in these fish. Mercury is a poison and tends negatively affect the human reproductive system. Then, there are the various gasses and the many different pollutants in the air we breath, not to mention the pollutants found on everything we touch. It is no surprise that one in three of us is affected by cancer.

But that must mean it can be addressed in a same way, and it seems that it can through natural foods. Meanwhile, some people are referring to this as the forbidden cure.

“Please understand that cancer is big business. The cancer industry is spending virtually nothing of its multi-billion dollar resources on effective prevention strategies, such as dietary guidelines, exercise and obesity education. Instead, it pours its money into treating cancer, not preventing or curing it.”

It seems, however, that people are starting to pay attention, and are starting to take the power back. And they are also backed by scientists who seem to have had enough of the big pharma creating customers instead of cures. For example, it has been found that one plant, part of the traditional diet in the tropics, turns out to be more effective than chemotherapy when it comes to the treatment of lung cancer.

“Perhaps most notably, the Noni leaf extract exhibited no toxicity in normal MRC5 lung cells — something that chemotherapy and radiation are notoriously incapable of producing. Said less euphemistically, chemotherapy and radiation not only drive cancer into a more invasive state, but can transform non-malignant cells into a highly malignant phenotype, even inducing stem-ness, a type of cellular immortality that can spell a death sentence to those in which it is induced.”

The Noni leaf was extensively tested, and the results were consistent. It seems that the plant provides a natural form of treatment that makes traditional chemotherapy unnecessary. Interestingly, the cost of traditional chemo drugs is very high, at around $220 per dose. Compare this to the Noni leaf, which costs just 12 cents per dose, and it again becomes clearer that natural products could provide a better way of treating cancer.
