People have lots of choices when it comes to healthcare these days, and consumers are more selective than ever about who they trust to keep them healthy. Having a strong social media presence is a great way for hospitals to connect with customers and build their brand.

In healthcare, reputation is everything. People turn to hospitals with surgeons and staff familiar with cutting-edge cancer treatments, interventions and procedures, and expect providers to have the most advanced and sophisticated diagnostic equipment in-house. Publishing information about new treatments and equipment upgrades provides convincing evidence that providers are keeping up with the latest advancements.

Social media is perhaps the most effective tool cancer hospitals can use to get the word out and build their reputation. The staff here at MesotheliomaTreatmentCenters.org believes social media is so important that we have once again gathered the latest social media stats for hospitals around the country.

We evaluated nearly 400 cancer hospitals this year, looking at activity on all the major social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram to find out which hospitals are doing the best job of connecting with their patients through social media.

Here are the top 50 social media-friendly cancer hospitals for 2019.

#1) Cleveland Clinic
