America’s Watchdog recently announced the creation of the Mesothelioma Victims Center to help the victims and family and friends of those affected by mesothelioma.

This is the first service offered in the U.S. that will cater solely to those suffering from mesothelioma and their loved ones free of cost.

America’s Watchdog Takes Action

It wasn’t until a family member was diagnosed with mesothelioma that America’s Watchdog became more informed about mesothelioma and decided to take action to help.

The group says that they never realized that there was no safety net for victims of mesothelioma and they know how hard it can be to get veterans benefits or social security benefits.

The Mesothelioma Victims Center was created to serve as the national advocacy center for mesothelioma victims and their families.

How the Service Will Help

The center will help those affected by mesothelioma free of charge.

The services offered at the center include:

• Helping victims get Social Security permanent disability payments
  
• Assisting his/her family in acquiring disability and health care benefits
  
• Ensuring that the victims get the best health care options
  
• Assisting the victim and their loved ones in obtaining legal representation
